At Deetu we passionately believe that through meaningful engagement we can create informed places for the future that also build trust within our communities. It is our vision of a smart city, a place designed for the benefit of its people.
That is why we have created a series of digitally led tools and services to help quickly reach wider and more diverse audiences to inform the decisions behind the future of our places.
To maximise their potential, we have appointed Deetu founding member, Josh Dickerson, as our Engagement Services Lead. Steve Wooler, BWB Group Chief Executive, says:
The establishment of a dedicated digitally led service looking at how engaging with communities and stakeholders can create a better built environment for everyone bolsters our key values as a group of companies.
He adds that:
Josh’s knowledge and skills of stakeholder management combined with his passion and enthusiasm for client satisfaction will continue to propel our Engagement Services to even bigger and better things.
These engagement services are already providing an industry-leading service to both private developers and local authorities. Recently this has been recognised by the national Planning Awards for winner of stakeholder engagement in planning. You can read about our award winning project here.
The service, explained by Josh Dickerson:
Has been formed as a natural evolution of Deetu, following our mantra of ‘doing things differently’ and challenging antiquated inefficient processes.
We are proving that it is possible to engage with communities in a different way, empowering development and policy decisions through increased transparency and inclusivity.
Our clients are actively using real community informed data from our digitally led engagement services to inform their plans and policies to create better places for our future.
